MADART with a Message
    I've been watching so much news lately it makes my head spin!  Especially considering what
    the news is about.  It's either politics, politics and more politics, or it's the economy.  

    Today's politics and economy are so intertwined in today's system that we can't understand
    one without the other.  But watching the stock market fluctuate drastically every day, and
    hearing the words "Recession and Depression" strikes a chord with me.   As a person from
    "Main Street USA" the Economy DOES affect me on a daily basis.  When I go fill up at the gas
    pump, get groceries, think about selling my home, moving to another state, the future of my  
    art, my child's future, or any day to day factor in my life, the economy affects ME.

    And now, more then ever before in my lifetime the economy is in serious trouble, and will it
    turn around?  And if it does, when will that be?  And what will our economy and country look
    like?  There are so many troubling questions I can't address them all.

    Watching and listening to all of the politics and economic crises facing this country I feel
    compelled to discuss MY take on these issues.  As a visual artist, the best way for me to
    "discuss" the issues is through my art.  You will see new current agendas/issues being
    brought up in this series of paintings.  Some may be subtle and some not, but I hope you
    enjoy watching my progression into "Political Art" with each new painting as it is completed
    and posted here.
